Percussion Faculty, Christian F. Howes, Performs Barbaric Passages
Marimba Magic!
Our percussion faculty, Christian F. Howes, recently performed with the Echo Chamber Orchestra on a piece for percussion duo. He and his percussion partner, Alapaki Yee, wowed the audience with their exciting performance of Barbaric Passages, by Joe W. Moore III, which included upside down marimba playing!
Christian and Alapaki rehearsed for countless hours at the Little Mission Studio, so it was quite a joy to hear the work in its full form at their performance.
